What a great day our Bank holiday was! Hot, sunny and with little wind, most were talking about the heat instead of another rainy, miserable bank holiday. Not only was the weather right, but so too the food and the community that came to Bilston SDA Church to enjoy it!
At the peak of the day, there was around a hundred people present! How great was that? Everyone was having a great time. There were dominoes been played, a six-love befell an unlucky pair (no names shall be mentioned here!) and a bouncing castle. Many old and new faces, some seeing each other for a long time.
It turns out that this was the largest BBQ event held so far at the Church. A great bonus was the large support from the community as there was even a number of people just off the streets who were cordially welcomed. A wonderful day it was.
