Special Appreciation Service for Elder Scarlett

Town Witness Program for Children
Bilston SDA Church children department were singing at the Wolverhampton Mander Centre on the 21st of December, as part of an outreach programme - Town Witness for Children.
The children did well on this their second performance outside the Church. If you like to hear the children singing, how about attending our Church on the next Children's Day 2020 or a 13th Sabbath programme that happenes at the end of each yearly quarter. A number of our members have been very ill this later part of the year. Please remember them in your prayers. Due to privacy no names will be mentioned here, but we all know how dear these three members are to us. They have been missing over the last three months, so your visit and prayers will help with their recovery.
Willocks African Expedition 2019
A member of our Church; Brother James Willock and family, visited the Afircan continent late this year. Along his visit, he stopped by a school and made a number of donations. His visit was well received by the staff and children. Here are some pictures of that remarkable visit, follow the link.

The Cavers Wolverhampton Half Marathon Events 2019
This was the best day so far in this annual event over the years a few members of Bilston SDA Church have participated. A great turn out and high spirits with a new recruit making his debut ride. Follow the link to read about this great event, its history and why it is supported.

Stockport Trip
Once again the Trip Master was at work, with a trip this summer to Stockport, which is 7 miles south-east of Manchester City. With a coach drive of two hours or less, the little group of members and friends trooped of the coach to taking in the sights of Stockport.

Pastor S. Appiah News
Pastor S. Appiah visited the Church on Sabbath 17th August, the surprised visit came with the amazing news that he and the family will be migrating to the USA, where he will be taking up the post of pastor for the Boston Temple SDA Church, Massachusetts, Southern New England Conference; Atlantic Union Churches. The Church wishes the family God’s richest blessings for this great endeavour. He was already missed, but now doubly more so.

Children's Day 2019 started with the prayers of the Children and with glorious sunshine and an early Pastor! What more could you want on a what was turning out to be a beautiful Sabbath. And that was what it was. The Church was so full, more chairs had to be put out. With all the children in the programme for the day in attendance, all was well with the programme. A beautiful Sabbath it certainly was. You can see so yourself here.

A group consisting of members and friends went for a walk at Cannock Chase. The evening was perfect for a short adventure, as it proved to be at least for the children as they enjoyed the great outdoors. Here are some of the pictures of the excursion - click here.

Bilston SDA Church celebrated its Asian Day 2019 this month. The Church enjoys a rich multi-cultural heritage that spans the globe, and on June 8th, that epicentre was at a little SDA Church in Bilston.

Pastor Samuel Appiah Departing Bilston SDA Church
Pastor Samuel Appiah, minister of Bilston, Central and Wilenhall Seventh-day Adventist Churches has been transferred to Windsor Street SDA Church. His last service at Bilston SDA Church will be Communion Service on the 23rd of March. His replacement will be Pastor J. Nicholson, who is coming from the Windsor Street circuit of Churches.
