Fourth Quarter Report
Another year is almost passed and we can all give God thanks to have lived through it, and hopefully we will all see many more! Our Sabbath school lessons have been following the guideline set by GraceLink; who are responsible for the children lessons of the Church. Our lessons concentrated on the following topics this last quarter:
- Service: We begin serving at home
- Grace: God keeps His promises
- Worship: Worshipping is sharing our love for Jesus
We learnt that Grace is a word that helps explain God’s love in action toward people, who don’t deserve it. Grace is God’s love providing Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for our sins. Grace is God’s love encouraging us to accept that sacrifice. Grace is God’s love inspiring us to respond in praise and worship and Grace is God’s love giving us the wisdom and strength to treat one another with love and respect, just the way He treats us. It is no doubt that that one word clears all our sins!
We learnt that service starts at home with the simplest of chores. This thought was carried on to helping others, doing so means that we are serving God. We were told that God keeps His promises and will never abundant anyone who serves Him.
God’s grace is power. It’s the unlimited, for-sure, forever power that finds you and fills you up with everything you need to live a full and wonderful life in Him.
We have also spent another year in our new home! The roof has been fixed and it’s nice and inside. There are plans to decorate it next year too, so it will look even better than inside here!
As the new year fast approaches, I hope that the Children Sabbath School will grow. I do hope and pray for the lost faces to return and new ones – including babies too, to join our little family. Family, because that is what Bislton SDA Church is to me.
We the children of the Church would like to give thanks to our teachers, for the hard work and support they have provided over the year. I know that was not easy, as you should know, we do ask a lot of questions and can get rather hyper at times and can be a handful. Rest assured, we will all try to do better next year!
We give thanks to the Church for your support to the children of this Church and pray that next year we will continue to have the blessings of God, your continued support and more children in our family.
