Bilston SDA Church celebrated it’s Community Services Day on the 28th of August, 2018. The Community Services department was led by Beverly Crosdale along with her supporting members; Sintha Thomandru and Angela Smith.

An interesting incident took place on the day that will be well remembered by the congregation. The main speaker for the day was actually to be Ms Sonia Munroe. Due to travel delay, she didn’t make it until midday.
Elder H. Griffith
So cometh the hour, came the man (think John 4:23). Elder H. Griffith took on the mantel of breaking the Word of God to the congregation. Without doubt, the Holy Spirit had prepared the Elder for the moment as his sermon touched the hearts of many.

The day’s programme was filled with a sense of accomplishment, of spiritual well-being and good food. How could there be a ‘high day’ at Bilston SDA Church without a fellowship meal? Good food, eventually led to the afternoon programme, where Sonia Munroe spoke of the signs of the day and the relevance of the many disasters happening around the world and here in the UK.
