Ordination Service

The ordination service for the deaconesses M. Vickers, D. Mcintosh and S. Thomandru was a solemn affair. Each deaconess was with her husband in the front seats of the Church as Pastor S. Appiah spoke of the roles of the deacon and the solemn responsibilities entrusted to such people. It was a very proud moment for the husbands and the Church to see these women offer their services to the Church and community.

Communion Service

Pastor looked at the different types of families and how families are linked by blood. He includes the extended family and community. He notes that the bible reading extends that to any one that accepts Christ as a brother.

He then spoke of broken families. The Church he said is a family too and it is the Church responsibility to take care of any one who has accepted Christ. That includes broken families, exiles, orphan children. As a Church we need to provide that family for them. He noted that as a Church we need to meet the needs of the community. Christ was able to meet the needs of those that came to him.
