Bilston Church took on the endeavour to get its member together for a Sabbath School class as the world faced lockdown. By using the Zoom video conferencing platform, the Church hosted its first official online meeting on 25th April 2020. It should be noted that Elder Lawrence hosted is own Sabbath School class the Sabbath before, but that was not an officially organised Church meeting.
With a membership tuned in of 25 for the day; in a number of sessions, the Adult Sabbath School class had a total of 16 present. It was a well-timed break from the solitude of house bound detention for everyone. It was clear to note that everyone was happy with the freedom to see and talk with each other on a Sabbath morning. Thank God for the blessings of technology and the foresight of the Church to make use of it.
