Some great news for the Church, the Council has granted planning permisson for a further two years! There was some doubt as to what the decision might be, but not so any. Great work by all those involved.

Adventists And War – 100 Years On Since Armistice Day, 11 November 1918
"It was called ‘the war to end all wars’. Sadly, history tells another tale. Despite the World War I (WWI) deaths of 17 million soldiers, with the injury of 21 million more, the Imperial War Museum in London records that war has taken place every single year since, killing an estimated 187 million people."

Cavers Wolverhampton Marathon Events 2018

Bilston SDA Community Services Day 2018
The Community Services dapartment will be holding a special worship day on the 26th August 2018. It will be a full day programme with a special speaker, along with a followship lunch.
Please come and join us, has the Church opens it's heart to all who will walk through it's door.

On Music Day, held on 30 June 2018 Bilston Church members and visitors took part in a survey of their favourite hymns.

June 30th 2018
Music Day proved to be a tremendous success for the Church as people far and wide came to participate in worship. The day's celebration was a joy of sound and thankfuless, along the way a baby dedication and the Children department celebrating their 13th Sabbath of the quarter.

New Church Clerk Announcement
The Church Board appointed a new church clerk when the position became vacant this month. The appointment of Mr C. Crosdale to the office sets a precedent, as he is the first male to ever have the position in the history of Bilston SDA Church.
ADRA Goal Raised!
Bilston SDA Church raised a total of £2,906 this year in the anuual ADRA-UK fund raising effort to help people in need.
Adventist's Contribution at the Royal Wedding.
1.9 billion people who watched the royal wedding around the world on 19 May, would have seen in the midst of the usual pomp and circumstance associated with these events a rather significant spiritual tone. This was evident through the familiar hymns, scriptural passages, a rousing address that contained the elements of salvation and a gospel choir during the holy matrimony.

Dudley SDA Church comes to Bilston
Our sister Church in Dudley came for a visit on Sabbath 23rd June 2018. They held a wonderful AY programme that was well recieved by all who attended.
Every 1st Wednesday of the month, commencing 6th June at 10am to noon. Come and enjoy a hot or cold drink, a cup of soup, a slice of cake.
The first Wednesday of June saw the start of the Church's soup kitchen in service to the people of Bilston. Members came out to do their bit to get the programme started and saw the reward of their endevour in the joy of serving others.
Visitor's Day 2018
Bilston SDA Church celebrated Visitors Day on Sabbath April 28th 2018
The Church family extended the hand of followship to the visitors for a whole day programm.

There was a break in at the Church in early January. The theives took the Children's television.

Adra UK awards local Church
Adra UK awarded the Bilston SDA Church £800 to support special community outreach projects in the local community. The Church was the third highest awardee of the three Churches awarded in the West Midlands area. Clink here for link.
