The month of May saw a record attendance for Sabbath service, and it wasn’t even in the Church building! With a few notables missing due to the lack of internet connected device, members such as Sister Adere, Sister Lena and the Williams family were sadly missed. A few more members were ‘offline’ too due to other reasons.
Even so, attendance numbers soared in the month of May, with members attending online in the low forty’s. Put in perspective of an active membership in the low fifty’s, attendance during the Lockdown was very good.
Although Zoom has had its problems well published on security and the constant changes to the interface, the Church has done very well and that can only be attributed to God’s grace. As the children of Israel face the great obstacle of the Red sea crossing along with many other changes to their lives, so has present Israel; the Church, been able to cross the physical boundaries of our homes to meet virtually to keep fellowship and faith.
Let us remember those of us who could not do so and continue prayer for the Church and others that we will great though this pandemic. For those of us and others, who have suffered loss, may they find solace and comfort in the Lord, who knows just what we all have are enduring.
Isaiah 41:10

Deuteronomy 31:8-9
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Psalm 119:50 ESV
This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.
