Report: Wednesday 4th July
The Bilston SDA Church community outreach programme – Soup Kitchen began as a small affair last month. With only a single visitor and a family of members present it was considered a successful start. It takes but a single step to start a journey, and this was going to be a big step for the little Church in Bilston.
The word went out, by internet, by word of mouth and even knock on the doors. The second soup kitchen was primed for action, as members gathered round to serve whoever came through the door.
And come they did, it was a slow start, but nevertheless, Bilston SDA Church had a grand total of thirteen visitors! On the second day of the programme! It was noted that they all enjoyed themselves in the company of the Church family present and they even wanted to sing!
May the Lord be praised! And the blessing to follow.
So, let’s see what happens next month. Watch this space (page)
